Favourite Mad Hatters Mini Challenge 3

This is a challenge that I was considering for quite a lot of time now. I want to draw my favourite characters that are based on Lewis Carroll's Mad Hatter.

Starring:

Xerxes Break from Pandora Hearts

Cause he's just awesome.

Casually, Break doesn't seem to take the world seriously. He's eccentric, he loves sweets and acts a bit creepy. But when he gets serious... he really gets serious. And in spite of his behaviour, he really cares for his friends.



About the drawing:

I tried a slightly different technique... And look, there's another way to draw the hair! 

Usually the longer I'm drawing, the more mistakes I spot. This time was no different... I have doubts about the anatomy and, judging from shadows, the source of light seems to be everywhere. On a good side, I didn't have to correct the contrasts with GIMP tools, so I guess that counts as a success.
